"Being on time in theatre is always being late"

Can't really think of a title for this week, so I am using a quote from Maria that she learnt at London. I actually think I'm the first to blog, which is a first haha.

So this week we worked on a display for outside the drama room and we just need to put the title up this week and it will be finished. It looks fantastic and I'm dead proud, it's amazing to look back on the year and see how much we have already accomplished. On Wednesday, Spencer, Richard and I also went along to the schools maths evening (even though I had vowed I was never going back after the last time), we went to raise money for Theatre Versus Oppression, which we will continue doing so throughout our IB, we managed to raise about 164 euros (I got 96!). I also made an IB theatre t shirt to wear for that night because in Wednesdays lesson we thought we should come up with a name for IB theatre and have t shirts made. I have not yet come up with any ideas for a name but am thinking about it.

On fridays lesson we started work on set design which we will eventually incorporate into our work on Brecht. I find it very interesting and I am particularly interested in costume etc. and how it adds to a theatre piece. I also enjoyed finding out about how different lines, shapes and colours all have a subconscieus affect on the audience.
